JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for an experienced wiring harness technician to help scale production of aerospace harness' used in VTOL UAV's, and satellite communications equipment.  As an avionics assembly technician at Baxter Aerospace, you will work on the cutting edge of aerospace innovation, fabricating high-performance harness' for next-generation applications.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, assemble, and install complex wire harnesses for aerospace applications. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. 
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair wire harnesses.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and follow manufacturing work instructions.
  • Documentation of harness builds.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to increase production operational efficiency, and output.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, whilst working in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Implement, analyze, and enhance shop floor workflows. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a U.S. person. 
  • Willing to commute or relocate.
  • 2+ years building electrical harness' for the aerospace, motorsport, or automotive industries.      
  • Competent with all hand tools associated with the fabrication of wiring harness'.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment toward continuous improvement.
  • Succeeds at being a team player and working independently. 
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
 
SKILLS:  

  • Soldering.
  • Laser Marking.
  • Epoxy and Adhesive Utilization.
  • Experience with Safety Wire. 
  • Aircraft Installations of Avionics.
  • Navigating Excel.
  • Inventory Tracking.
  • Familiarity with CAD (specifically Onshape). 

EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE:

  •   Full time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.
  •   Overtime Pay.
