JOB DUTIES
- Perform assembly operations according to established procedures and specifications, with a keen focus on precision and quality.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble complex aerospace components.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to verify conformance to engineering drawings and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering teams to implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices at all times.
- Document assembly processes, including any deviations or non-conformities encountered during production.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of assembly procedures and techniques to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Adhere to strict compliance standards and regulatory requirements governing aerospace manufacturing operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a US person.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in aerospace or manufacturing preferred.
- Proven experience in aerospace assembly or a related field with a strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment commonly used in aerospace manufacturing.
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all aspects of assembly operations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE:
- Full time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm
- Overtime Pay
